About Us

Hello and welcome ,we are Carl and Andrea Taylor based in Leyland, Lancashire.

I have been involved in model engineering and scale trucks for well over 20 yrs – Starting with scratch builds and Wedico then Tamiya 1/14 scale  trucks. With 5 children to occupy we spent hours building trailers and modifying trucks, I built them a tipper they then wanted it to tip so after a lot of trial and error we made it  tip, this started a passion for  designing  and building mechanisms and accessories to fit our trucks and trailer that did not break the bank. With a Myford lathe bought by my son Keiron and a home made foundry for casting aluminium, later a small milling machine we spent hours and hours in our ever growing  workshop.

Some of our early products .

Some 11 yrs ago 2013 my daughter Becky listed 1 of our tipper mechanism on Ebay to see what would happen, they sold well and other items were soon added like the ramp mechanism for Bruder low loader trailers and the fifth wheel conversion plate for the same trailer, products that we are still selling today although there have been a few improvements along the way.

We have always tried to keep prices and our products affordable to everyone, emphasising on function over aesthetics in the early days by using casting wherever possible (recycled aluminium wheels) for batch production.

Now with the use of cnc machines using stock aluminium, we have faster production and less labour. We are striving to offer both functionality and better looking parts made to tighter tolerances therefore if there ever was a problem parts can easily be swapped out.

With our family being from an agricultural background we soon got into building tractors using the Bruder and Britains 1/16 scale toys for the body and set about building a chassis for them with working rear linkage and getting enough room under the body to fit everything was a challenge to say the least.

To keep costs down we made our own rims and hubs so we could utilise the tyre which come on the doner model, we use the Britains tyres where possible as these are rubber but we can also use the Bruder tyres where necessary, casting the rims also greatly reduces the cost of building these models.

Present day and the future

With continued improvements in the tools and machinery available to us like cnc milling machines – we run 2.

Faster, better quality 3d printers – we have 4.

The future looks bright, we have been able to expand the range of products we make and will continue to do so along with trying and prototyping new products.

With access to cad files from other designers like Madarus Alexandru Vlad, DAF xg, Scania s580 and Connie Larson Volvo f10, f7 , f88 and daf 2800 amongst others on cults 3d  (if we haven’t included your name please let us know ) coupled with our printers and machines we are building projects we have dreamed about for years.

We beleive the future is very exiting for the world of scale rc trucks

Our goal

Is to design and produce parts and accessories that are

good quality, easy to fit and install

value for money and affordable
